1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and receiving massage therapy services from Ammassage ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Ammassage provides in-home massage therapy services including but not limited to:

• Swedish/Relaxation Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Sports Massage
• Wellness Packages

Our services are therapeutic in nature and are not a substitute for medical treatment. We do not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical advice.

3. Booking and Appointments

• Scheduling: Appointments can be booked through our website, app, or by phone.
• Confirmation: All bookings are subject to therapist availability and will be confirmed via email or text message.
• Arrival: Our therapist will arrive at your designated location at the scheduled time. Please ensure the space is ready for the session.
• Session Time: The booked time includes setup and takedown. Please be ready at the scheduled start time to maximize your massage time.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
• Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
• No-Show Policy: Failure to be present at the scheduled time without prior notice will result in a charge of 100% of the service cost.
• Emergencies: We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

5. Health Disclosure and Contraindications

For your safety, you must disclose any relevant health information before your session, including:

• Current injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions
• Pregnancy
• Allergies (especially to oils or lotions)
• Skin conditions or sensitivities
• Medications that may affect treatment
• Areas of concern or areas to avoid

Contraindications: Massage therapy may not be appropriate for individuals with certain conditions including but not limited to: fever, contagious illness, blood clots, severe osteoporosis, or recent surgery. Our therapist reserves the right to refuse service if they believe it may be harmful to your health.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Safe Environment: You agree to provide a safe, clean, and appropriate space for the massage session, including adequate lighting and room for a massage table.
• Pets: Please secure pets in another room during the session.
• Respectful Conduct: Any inappropriate behavior, sexual advances, or harassment toward our therapists will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and may result in legal action.
• Communication: Please communicate your comfort level, pressure preferences, and any discomfort during the session.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment: Payment is due at the time of booking or immediately following the session, as specified.
• Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated during booking.
• Gratuity: Tips are not included in the service price and are appreciated but not required.
• Pricing: All prices are subject to change. The price at the time of booking will be honored for that appointment.

8. Therapist Conduct and Qualifications

All Ammassage therapists are licensed massage therapists in the state of New York, carry liability insurance, and have been vetted for professionalism and experience. Our therapists adhere to a strict code of professional conduct and ethics.

9. Limitation of Liability

Ammassage and its therapists shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from massage therapy services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. By using our services, you acknowledge that massage therapy carries inherent risks and agree to assume those risks. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

10. Consent

By booking a massage session, you consent to receive massage therapy from our licensed therapists. You may withdraw consent and stop the session at any time. You also consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Ammassage and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
